You’ve got a question, you just need a straight answer
Stop Googling. Stop Guessing. Get back to running your business
When you run a business you already have enough on your plate. You don’t have time to read another course, blog or PDF just to work out what to do next.
Instead, ask someone who will explain it in plain English and help you decide the next sensible step
Sound Familiar?
► “I’ve had this letter from Companies House. What do I need to do?”
► “Xero is asking me to reconcile something. What does that mean?”
► “Help, I’ve overpaid payroll what do I do?”
► “My accountant’s explained it…. but I still don’t understand”
► “I’ve been Googling for hours and I’m more confused than when I started”
You don’t need a course.
You need someone to ask.
When something crops up just ask.
Send me a message, a screenshot, a photo or a voice note.
I’ll explain what you are looking at in plain English and help you decide the next step.
Sometimes I’ll tell you it’s nothing to worry about
Sometimes I’ll explain what it means.
Sometimes I’ll tell you its one for your accountant and suggest the right question to ask.
Either way you will know where you stand.
Here’s what you get
Before you sign up………
I’m not a replacement for your accountant.
Your accountant does things I don’t, like tax returns, year-end accounts and HMRC submissions.
I work alongside them, not instead of them. If something needs your accountant, I’ll tell you.
I won’t give tax advice.
I’ll explain things in plain English, help you understand your options and point you in the right direction. If something needs tax advice, I’ll tell you to speak to your accountant.
No courses. No portal. No PDFs.
Just ask your question and get a straight answer.
If you’ve landed here because someone said, “Ask Gail,” you’re in the right place.
I’m Gail
Most of the people I work with come through recommendations.
They don’t recommend me because I know lots of accounting jargon. They recommend me because I explain things clearly, don’t make them feel daft, and help them work out the next sensible step.
